Groove Download Shop Recommendations

Hi by now Ron Boots has added all Groove Products in the new download shop both as MP3 and FLAC. It is nice to see that everything works perfectly and people are ordering their favorite music. Of course you know you can buy my music there, but there is much more nice music in there. I thought it would be nice to share some of my personal favorite Groove titles with you. These are albums that I personally like and you can get them in an instance when you want. In no particular order:

Close Encounter on HomeGrown Podcast

It seems that the track I made with Nattefrost is getting some airplay here and there now. Yesterday Terry Hawke played it on his show called 'The Hawkes Chill Out Session' and I also found that it was played on the HomeGrown Podcast today. La Roche-en-Ardenne on Elektroland #118

Bjorn Jepessen played the track 'La Roche-en-Ardenne' from the 'Refuge en Verre' album by Ron Boots & Synth.nl on his latest radio show Elektroland #118. He also played a track from the latest Nattefrost album called 'Close Encounter' were Bjorn and I play together on Elektroland #117. So Two Synth.nl collaboration track on two different shows. As I wrote before there will be a new Nattefrost album released by Bjorn Jeppesen on the 9th of October at the E-live festival in Oirschot (NL). Bjorn is just like me signed under the record label Groove Unlimited. And that is how we got in touch. We have met on several occasions, mostly electronic music related events. We have become good friends since then and are in regular contact over the Internet. In 2010 I joined Bjorn on a trip to Sweden where he played on the Norberg festival. During this trip we also spend some time in his studio and played some music together. There also a track called 'Close Encounter' was born that now features on Bjorn's new CD. This is the first Nattefrost and Synth.nl collaboration and I'm sure more will follow in the future. New Nattefrost Album with Synth.nl up for Pre-Order

Bjorn Jepessen will release a new album as 'Nattefrost' on the coming E-live festival in Oirschot (NL) on the 9th of October. The album will be called 'Dying Sun / Scarlet Moon'. On the album there will also be the track that Bjorn and myself made recently. The track is called 'Close Encounter'. The album is now up for Pre-sale on the Groove website. Bjorn will be also present on the E-live festival and even will be performing live on stage. So if you want to pick this up first hand and have it signed by the both of us E-live will be the perfect opportunity. Synth.nl and Nattefrost Collaboration coming

During my travel to the Norberg Festival in Sweden I picked Bjorn Jeppesen up in Denmark to go there together. Bjorn played on the festival as Nattefrost. I left Holland a day earlier so that I could visit his studio as well and there we made some music together. And that resulted in a nice mix of both our styles. We decided that the result was good enough to make a track from it and so that is what we did. Bjorn took this picture of me in his studio while I was playing one of the leads. We are now both finishing up the track in both our own studio. But we already decided that we will be releasing this track both somewhere in the future. We just don't know how and when yet. But it will be on one of his and one of my CD's eventually :) So another collaboration is on its way! This time it will be Nattefrost & Synth.nl.
