More Sound Effects on the ARP 2600

Last week I created some new Sound Effects for an upcoming collaboration project I'm working on. I can't tell you details yet, but keep an eye out :) Earlier this week I used the Roland SH-5 and today I used the ARP 2600 to make some new and unique sweeps, twirls, whooshes, modulations and so on. I usually just patch around and turn knobs while recording. Then when I think I have enough I start selecting the good parts and neatly trim then down. It is very boring work actually, but in the end it is rewarding to hear them back in a track, knowing that you made everyone from scratch :)

Close Encounter Sound Clip Online

As I wrote before there will be a new Nattefrost album released by Bjorn Jeppesen on the 9th of October at the E-live festival in Oirschot (NL). Bjorn is just like me signed under the record label Groove Unlimited. And that is how we got in touch. We have met on several occasions, mostly electronic music related events. We have become good friends since then and are in regular contact over the Internet. In 2010 I joined Bjorn on a trip to Sweden where he played on the Norberg festival. During this trip we also spend some time in his studio and played some music together. There also a track called 'Close Encounter' was born that now features on Bjorn's new CD. This is the first Nattefrost and Synth.nl collaboration and I'm sure more will follow in the future. Refuge en Verre Radio Premiere on Dreamscape #115

Yesterday Ron Boots played the first track from out upcoming 'Refuge en Verre' album on his radio show Dreamscape Radio #115. The whole track is actually 12:16 long, but Ron played a large part of it. You can find the radio show on this URL: http://dreamscape.groove.nl/. Synth.nl Contribution on New Nattefrost Album

I have some nice news to tell. Bjorn Jepessen will release a new album on the 9th of October at the E-live festival in Oirschot (NL). The album will be called Dying Sun / Scarlet Moon. And I can let you in on a little secret: There will be a track on there that Bjorn and I made together. The track is called Close Encounter and we made it during our meeting in Copenhagen recently. Synth.nl will feature on AstrologiKa Album by Janus

I will be colaborating with Chris Newman who also produces music under the name Janus on his upcoming AstrologiKa album. It will be a big colaboration project by Chris with also other artists like Gert Emmens, Frank van Bogaert, Michel Huygen, Dithmar and many more. Below is a promo video just meant as a teaser for this upcoming work. I will keep you posted ofcourse even though I don't know yet when it will be released.
